With a profound enthusiasm for research and mentorship, Leanne joined the NIH Postbac program after completing her degree in Biology from Virginia Tech. Her ultimate goal is to pursue a PhD in Immunology/Translational research, with a focus on contributing to therapeutic advancements. Leanne cultivated her passion for teaching during her tenure as a student athlete tutor and Biology TA at Virginia Tech, where she learned to adapt her methods to suit each individual’s needs and create an environment that fosters academic growth and enjoyment.
