Amanda is in her 12th year teaching at a high school in the suburbs west of Boston, MA. Amanda has also taught during the summers for the pre-collegiate programs Upward Bound and Urban Scholars. Amanda holds a Masters of Education degree from UMass Boston (which focused on Secondary Education and teaching Math to English Language Learners). She also earned a Bachelors in Mathematics from Framingham State University. She has taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. Having worked with students from the elementary to college level, Amanda brings a sense of motivation, encouragement, and passion for math to all students that she encounters.
