Maggie grew up in Northern Kentucky and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Wittenberg University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Special Education for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Learners from George Washington University. She just completed her fifth year teaching and will be teaching first grade in DCPS this year.

Maggie is a dedicated and caring educator who is passionate about helping students discover their love for learning. She loves to tap into her inner child to make her students feel comfortable, loved, and supported. Maggie believes every child is entitled to a spectacular education with teachers who are their biggest supporters. While working with Maggie, students will have fun and laugh, all while working on the skills that will help them succeed in school.
