Midem is an elementary school educator for MCPS and has taught in the Maryland Public School System for eight years.  She grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Rider University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Communications: Multimedia.  She later earned her Master’s Degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Salisbury University in 2019.  Midem taught third grade for five years and taught an enrichment reading class for three of those years.  Then, she taught fourth grade for three years.  She is now teaching both enrichment for primary grade levels and fourth grade at MCPS.
