Jason grew up in Rockville, MD, and went to Wootton High School before majoring in Newspaper and Online Journalism at Syracuse University. He then interned with Major League Baseball Advanced Media and turned that into a job as an MLB.com Editorial Producer for nearly five years.

Jason recently made a career transition into education, substituting in the Montgomery County Public Schools system and then working as an English Composition Assistant for Sherwood High School. He often works one-on-one with students at Sherwood, and his primary goal is to help them improve their writing, reading comprehension and organization. He emphasizes those same skills in tutoring sessions.
