JJ grew up in Newton, Massachusetts and is now pursuing his PhD in biochemistry at Georgetown University. He graduated from Bowdoin College with a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology. JJ is passionate about teaching chemistry, biology, and mathematics, paying forward the guidance he received from his mentors during his studies. His infectious enthusiasm for these subjects makes for an engaging and enjoyable learning experience for his students.
In his free time, JJ enjoys playing and watching sports like football, rugby, and basketball, as well as playing chess and board/card games with friends, and reading.
